Yummy Mummy News: Hear What People Are Saying About Our Brown Bag Lunch

Dear Moms and Moms-to-be,

It has been less than 2 months since we launched our Weekly Brown Bag Lunch at Yummy Mummy and already Sara Newman, the fantastic Doula (DONA Certified) and Baby Care Specialist who runs the lunches, has established quite a following! Expectant moms and new moms alike love the ability to pop in when time allows, catch up with other expectant and new moms and pose any burning questions they may have to Sara and the group.

At last week's lunch, we asked a couple of the moms to share their thoughts on the gathering.

• "I enjoy it. It's great and provides great resource," said Winnie who is expecting.
• A new mom offered "I like it. Sara is very nice and very approachable. I've gathered some very helpful information."

The Weekly Brown Bag Lunches are held every Thursday from 12:00-1:00. Please note that there will be no lunch this Thursday, July 29th. The weekly lunches will resume on Thursday, August 5th. We hope to see you there!

In class news, there is still room in this month's Prenatal Breastfeeding Class on July 29th at 6:30 pm. To register, please call the store at 212-87-YUMMY (212-879-8669).

• Monday 6:30-8:00 pm: Prenatal Yoga (The July series is full. There is still room in the August series of classes.)
• Wednesday 1:00-2:30 pm: Weekly Breastfeeding Support Group (Drop in)
• Wednesday 6:30-7:30 pm: Expectant Moms Support Group (There is still availability in the July/August series. Please email renee@babybites.com to register)
• Thursday 6:30 pm: Prenatal Breastfeeding Class (There is still availability. Please call the store to register.)
