Yummy Mummy News: World Breastfeeding Week

Dear Moms and Moms-to-be,

August 1 - August 7 is World Breastfeeding Week. Launched in 1992, it is now celebrated internationally in 120 countries. To celebrate World Breastfeeding Week here at Yummy Mummy, we will be offering this week's Breastfeeding Support Group for free. As always, the group will be drop-in and is held on Wednesday from 1-2:30pm.

Other World Breastfeeding Week events in NYC?

• This Friday, August 6th, you can join the NYC Annual Breastfeeding Subway Caravan on their journey through NYC. Click on this link to learn more.
• And on Tuesday, August 10th, Big City Moms will be hosting an Expectant Moms Dinner devoted exclusively to breastfeeding. Yummy Mummy will be on hand giving away a bunch of great raffle prizes! In class news, please note that the Weekly Brown Bag Lunch is back on after a week's hiatus. Drop-in anytime on Thursday between noon and 1pm with or without baby.
