As two new moms who needed to find stylish bathing suits to fit our post-natal bodies, we understand the struggle is real. When traveling together in Mexico we realized that neither of us had swimwear that made us feel good about ourselves or that we loved. We set out on a mission to design swimwear that was stylish and yet supportive and flattering.
Since then we have become experts on how to fit every body type. Our customers can either buy from our "ready-to-wear" collection or order custom suits. Every bathing suit and cover-up is hand made with real bodies in mind. That said, we make sure that every style feels sexy, fashion-forward, and makes women feel good. Whether this is your first summer as a mom or the first time you have bought a bathing suit since your honeymoon, it's time to feel good about the way you look poolside! Here are few easy tips for new moms to feel great in their swimsuit post-baby!
1. This is your body now. Shop for something that makes you feel comfortable and supported as you are today. Shopping for your future body will only cause you to spend money on something that makes you feel bad and that you cannot wear. You brought a human life into the world, it's okay that your body looks a little different!
2. Support does not necessarily come from an underwire. Our Twist Bandeau one-piece and bikini top are constructed with support in mind. Upper and lower bands hold everything in and the twist separates for a flattering and feminine sweetheart neckline. Plus, you can easily pull one side down at a time for nursing.
3. Give yourself options with versatile styles that can change as your needs do. Our bandeau bathing suits have straps that you can tuck in while you're running around outside, avoiding tan lines. But, when your little ones are tugging on you in the pool, you'll be glad you have the straps on. This is a family show, people! Another example is the High Band bikini bottom. Leave it up for a high-waisted retro look, fold it down for a hipster style.
